Kalmadi's 'memory' holds up for Pune
In this letter written from his cell in Delhi's Tihar Jail, tainted Commonwealth Games chief Suresh Kalmadi has urged the District Collector of Pune to release nearly Rs 2 crore from his MP's fund for various developmental projects in his home town. Surprisingly, Mr Kalmadi recently claimed that he suffers from dementia and availed of medical check-ups outside the jail.
