Kannauj Building Collapse: Injured Workers Share Details Of Horrific Incident
An accident at Kannauj Railway Station during ongoing renovation work left 24 workers injured after shuttering and an under-construction slab collapsed. Twelve of the injured workers are still receiving treatment at the Kannauj District Hospital. The workers have also raised concerns over inhumane treatment by the contractor and lack of payment for the past week. The Railways has provided financial assistance of Rs 50,000 each to the injured workers.
