Kanpur to Kerala: Rage against rape
In Kanpur, a 16-year-old Dalit girl was seriously injured when three men chopped off her nose, ear and a part of her hand after she resisted a rape attempt in Bindaki area. In another incident in Kerala, the 23-year-old woman, who was the lone passenger in the compartment reserved for ladies, was pushed out of the train after she resisted a robbery attempt.
