Karnal school horror: Traumatised 6-yr-old dies
A kindergarten student died in a hospital in Karnal on Sunday night after being traumatised by a teacher who had allegedly locked him in a dark room for not doing his homework. Six-year-old Pankaj was traumatised since December 27 when his teacher locked him up in a dark room for over two hours as a punishment for not completing his homework. The family says he remained locked up even after school hours when the teacher had left. Eventually, the boy's elder brother found him.
