PU College in Mysuru district that was once in the eye of the storm because of the hijab controversy is back at the centre of yet another row after Rama Krishna and A Rame Gowda, principal of Hunsur PU College, were announced as winners of the 'Best Principal' award. The state government was supposed to felicitate him on the occasion of Teachers' Day. Karnataka's Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa said the award has been temporarily put on hold.
