Karnataka Film Industry Plans Preventive #MeToo Probe, Members Divided Over Exact Process
The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) held a meeting with women artistes on today, triggered by the Justice K Hema committee report that highlighted the presence of sexual harassment in the Kerala film industry. This comes following a letter from the Karnataka State Women’s Commission chairperson Nagalakshmi Chowdhary, requesting the film chamber to organise a meeting to address these concerns in Sandalwood, Karnataka's film industry. The attendees were divided.
