Kerala in the grip of chikungunya panic
The Allepy district in Kerala has been one of the worst-affected districts in the state with over 70 per cent of chikungunya cases. Way back in 1996, Allepy had seen an outbreak of Japanese encephalitis, followed by dengue, some years later and now, chikungunya.
