Kerala: Noose tightens on swamis
After the arrest of controversial Kerala Godman, Santosh Madhavan, self-styled swamis in Kochi are in a fix. While some of them have gone underground, many others have chosen to stay indoors. One such Godman Swami Himavel Maheswara Bhadranandaji, in Alwaye near Kochi, is virtually under self-imposed house arrest. Till last week, he used to be a free bird crisscrossing the length and breadth of Kerala, preaching meditation and spirituality.
