One more person has been diagnosed with the Nipah virus. Kerala Health Minister Veena George has confirmed one more case of Nipah virus in Kozhikode. A 24-year-old health worker at a private hospital was diagnosed with the deadly virus. A central team is in Kerala to assist the state government in tackling the outbreak in Kozhikode district, where two people have died and at least four others are in hospital with symptoms. Kerala's Nipah protocols have kicked in as soon as the confirmation came from the National Institute of Virology.
