Kerala succeeds in checking sandal mafia
Travelling over 350 kilometres, crossing two state borders one reaches the forests of Marayur in Kerala spread over 11 kilometres. There are 58,000 fully grown sandalwood trees there which is one of the densest concentrations in the country.
