Kiran Rao On The Success Of Laapataa Ladies: "This Is The Only Award I Can Ever Ask For"

On the success of her film Laapataa Ladies, director-producer-screenwriter Kiran Rao interacted with the media in Mumbai she thanked the viewers for the response. "I just want to thank everyone for the response. I mean, I feel really humbled. I feel beyond grateful," she said. Speaking of the stellar response, she said, "And honestly, as a filmmaker, this is the only award I can ever ask for, the love that I've been getting. I just feel very fortunate and I want to thank everybody who went out and saw the film in cinemas."
