Kiran Rao To NDTV On Laapataa Ladies Oscar Entry: "The Film Speaks About Shared Hopes For Women"
Kiran Rao's directorial Laapataa Ladies has been selected as India's official entry to the Oscars 2025. Speaking to NDTV about the film's global appeal, Kiran Rao said, "Even though the film is very particular to India, particular to this village, it stills speaks the language of shared hopes for women and progress."
