Phil Salt and Shreyas Iyer's powerful partnership propelled Kolkata Knight Riders to an eight-wicket win over Lucknow Super Giants in their IPL 2024 match on Sunday. Chasing 162, KKR lost two wickets in a quick succession but Iyer and Salt played fearless cricket and took their side across the line in just 15.4 overs. Salt scored 89* off 47 balls while Shreyas Iyer scored 38*. For LSG, Mohsin Khan scalped two wickets. Interestingly, this was KKR's first-ever win over LSG in the IPL.
