Kolkata-Dhaka Moitree Express flagged off
On Monday, on the occasion of Poila Boishak - the start of the Bengali New Year - Bengalis in both West Bengal and Bangladesh got a gift in the form of Moitree Express, a train that will connect Kolkata to Dhaka after a break in service of 43 years. The Moitree Express was ready for take off at 7.15 am on Monday. For most of the passengers, the journey was pure nostalgia.
