Kolkata Doctor Rape-Murder case: WB Junior Doctors Hold 'Mashaal March' In solidarity With 'Abhaya'

West Bengal junior Doctors held 'Mashaal March' from RG Kar Medical College to Shyambazar on September 29. A woman trainee doctor was found dead in the seminar hall of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata on August 09. Following the brutal rape and murder, several protests were organised all over the country demanding justice for the victim. On September 10, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Court remanded Principal Sandip Ghosh and three others to judicial custody. The Anti-Corruption Branch of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Sandip Ghosh on September 02. Ghosh was under investigation for alleged corruption and financial irregularities at the college and hospital.
