Kolkata Hospital Rape-Murder Case Can't Be Transferred To Another State: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court today declined to transfer the trial in the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital rape-murder case from West Bengal to another state. The Supreme Court questioned the lawyers, saying it doesn't need their "self-gratuitous remarks", and asked who were they representing to say that people in Bengal have lost faith in the state judiciary and administration.
