Kolkata's Durga Puja-Themed Tram
Kolkata is a lot about old world charms and the city thrives on its heritage. While Durga Puja is firmly embedded in its culture, the city's trams are a part of its rich heritage and the only surviving tramway system in India. It's over 150 years old and during this Durga Puja the city's trams have received a new identity with a special Durga Puja-themed tram that will run on a route that has some of the most famous Durga Puja pandals in the city. The tram will start running from Monday.
