The BJP has given the call for a 12-hour strike in West Bengal tomorrow to protest the police action on a march to the state secretariat Nabanna today over the rape and murder of a 31-year-old doctor in Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. There was violence on the streets of Kolkata today with the Trinamool blaming the BJP for creating a conspiracy to try and destabilise the government.
