Kolkata Takes Steps To Avert Road Accidents
NDTV-Diageo Road To Safety initiative reached Kolkata to spread awareness about the importance of following road safety rules. On the show, NDTV met with Mr Vivek Sahay, Kolkata, who joined the awareness event and spoke about the steps which the city's traffic officials are taking up to prevent road accidents. During the event, more than 1000 people from the city came forward and took the pledge for making India's roads safer by signing up for the #NeverDrinkAndDrive pledge.
