Kumbh Mela Begins In Uttarakhand Amid Pandemic
Kumbh has officially started in Uttarakhand's Haridwar from today where millions of devotees are expected to join the religious gathering this month. Amid the rising second wave in the country, Uttarakhand is also witnessing more than 100 per cent rise in the number of cases as compared to last week. Meanwhile, despite many assurances norms of social distancing have gone for a toss as people abandon covid appropriate behaviour while taking dip in Ganges.
