Kushal Ke Kadam: USHA’s Tribal Exclusive Silai Schools
The USHA Silai School Progamme launched the Tribal Exclusive USHA Silai Schools project with the idea of reaching out to women in the most marginalised parts of India. The project focuses on empowering the tribal women and equipping with new skills. It also provides them a platform for entrepreneurship so that they can earn a living. The plan is to open 500 Tribal Exclusive USHA Silai Schools across 29 districts, in 9 states of India. As of now, 280 of these 500 schools are operational.
