With new goals and renewed hope, NDTV-Usha Kushalta Ke Kadam is back for season 4, offering yet another gratifying challenge to the women who chose sewing as their source of livelihood. The initiative has been empowering women from rural parts of India since 2011. Till date, Usha Silai Campaign has trained more than 3.95 lakh rural women, with 17,046 Silai schools, spanning over 9,272 Indian villages. In the fourth season, the campaign will talk about the establishment of the new cluster in Kashmir and the women entrepreneurs will be given the unique chance to work with the famous designer Rohit Bal. Moreover, the fantastic designs and hard work of the Silai women will be presented at Lakme Fashion week 2019.
