L&T announces restructuring plans
As construction and engineering major Larsen & Tourbo morphs into a giant with tentacles reaching out to every aspect of infrastructure development, a massive organisational restructuring is underway within the company. L&T plans to split its existing 6 core business divisions into 12 verticals. ECC division will be split into 4, E&C into 2, Heavy Engineering into 2, Manufacturing into 2, Switchgear into 1 and others into 1.
