L V Prasad Eye Institute Sets World Record For Corneal Transplants, No Waiting List In 3 States
There is no waiting list for corneal transplants in three Indian states Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. NDTV's Uma Sudhir spoke to Dr GN Rao founder-chair of the prestigious Hyderabad-based L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) that has made this a reality. The institute has also created a world record by performing over 50,000 Corneal Transplants since 1987.
