LA 2028 To Host Shooting Events | Estoril Praia To Honour F1 Driver Ayrton Senna | The World Report

Shooting sports will return to the Olympic spotlight at the 2028 Los Angeles Games... this time in LA County itself. That's a shift from Paris 2024, where events were held nearly 270km from the main venue. The International Shooting Sport Federation president, Luciano Rossi, welcomed the move and has said that he'll push for all future Games to keep shooting within host cities. In another development, Portuguese soccer team Estoril Praia will wear special green and yellow jerseys in a match against Braga to honour Ayrton Senna, the legendary Brazilian Formula 1 driver. This special kit is a tribute to Senna's iconic helmet colours, and his first F1 win at the Estoril circuit in 1985. Watch The World Report for the latest updates.
