Labour Ministry looking into Jet issue: Fernandes
The Chief Labour Commissioner has been asked to submit a report on the sacking of 1,900 employees by Jet Airways, Union Labour Minister Oscar Fernandes, said on Thursday. "There is a problem in the aviation industry, particularly in Jet Airways. Definitely, I am looking into it. I have asked the Chief Labour Commissioner to submit a report (on the Jet Airways sacking staff)," he told reporters.
