FIR Shows Car That Ran Over Farmers Registered In Minister's Name

The outrage over UP police's inaction in the murder of farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri has escalated after new videos purportedly show a group of protesting farmers being run over by a speeding jeep. Though the police have named the son in FIR and booked him for murder, they are yet to arrest him, or question his father. The Minister, in a series of questions posed to him by NDTV, has not denied that the Mahindra Thar jeep seen in the viral video running over farmers belongs to him.
