"Planned Conspiracy": Team Probing Lakhimpur Kheri Farmers' Killings
Remember how two months ago, every functionary of the ruling BJP in Uttar Pradesh had defended Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni and his son in the case of a jeep running over farmers on October 3? Now, a probe team investigating the case has said it was not an accident but a planned conspiracy. The probe team has asked for Ashish Mishra to be named as the main accused. Does this not make Teni's position untenable? Should he be asked to resign from his post?
