Four days after eight people died in clashes between farmers and supporters of Union Minister Ajay Mishra's son and despite a video showing that four farmers were hit by a car owned by the minister, the UP police have acted only today, that too after the Supreme Court asked it just how many arrests it had made in the case and sought a status report tomorrow. Even then, the main accused, the minister's son, is walking free. Is this yet another instance - like many before - of the BJP trying to brazen it out, delaying action against its own?
