Large Parts Of Sikkim's Worst-Hit Singtam Town Remain Buried Under Sludge
Singtam town in Sikkim is among the worst-hit with one of the bridges across the river washed away completely. Water levels have risen unexpectedly, and a large part of the town has homes, workshops and cars buried under the sludge left behind by floodwaters. More bodies are feared buried under the debris as at least two floors of some buildings still remain under the sludge.
