Lavasa: Expert Appraisal Committee defers clearance
It is a flip flop that Hindustan Construction Corporation, promoters of Lavasa Township near Pune, will surely not like. The expert appraisal committee of the environment ministry looking into the green norm violations by Lavasa has taken a U-turn. It has decided to defer the clearance it had given to 681 hectares of land at the hill city in March.
