Law Minister defends EC Navin Chawla
A political battle is on to save Election Commissioner Navin Chawla, who the BJP wants sacked as they say he is partisan to the Congress. Now the law minister has come out in his support. Not just that, he wants the constitution amended to bring the two election commissioners on par with the chief election commissioner.
