Former students of the National Law School, moved by the plight of migrants stranded in Mumbai, raised money and chartered an Air Asia flight to take 180 people back to Jharkhand. They were helped by IIT Bombay students and the Bombay COVID Action Network in organising the flight for the migrants, who left at 6 am on Thursday from Mumbai. They arrived in Ranchi at 8 am. Chief Minister Hemant Soren also tweeted, thanking them for the effort.
