As Israeli forces have unleashed 'hell' on Hezbollah in Lebanon, Beirut has raised the issue at UNGA. Lebanese MP Bahia El Hariri warned UNGA of serious 'danger' as the Israeli strikes have killed over 490 civilians. She raised the threats to international peace and security, saying, 'Humanity urgently needs dialogue to call ourselves into question."
Notably, the IDF conducted a series of extensive strikes on over 300 targets of Iranian-backed Hezbollah on September 23. 492 people were killed and over a thousand civilians have been injured in one of the deadliest hostilities in Lebanon.
One of the Lebanese officials called it the highest daily death toll in the strike since the 1975-1990 civil war. In addition to the previous warning, Israeli PM Netanyahu again warned the Lebanese to move away from the border areas.
