Left hands over letter of withdrawal
Left parties have met President Pratibha Patil and handed over letter for withdrawal of support to the UPA government. "We have met the President and have given her a letter on behalf of the four Left parties withdrawing support to the UPA government," CPM general secretary Prakash Karat told reporters outside the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
