Left offers temporary truce to UPA
In his first interview since the nuclear stand off, CPM General Secretary, Prakash Karat, told The Telegraph that the Left never doubted Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's integrity. Ironically, it was the PM's interview to The Telegraph newspaper in August which, many believe, worsened the political crisis over the nuclear deal.
