Licence to donate organs
Karnataka has become the first state in the country to launch the organ donor option on drivers licences. While applying for a driving licence, people are given the option of becoming organ donors and if they agree their licence gets a green tag. In the sad case of a fatal road accident, this tag would save precious time in identifying an organ donor.
