Just as the floodwaters began receding from Delhi, the city was lashed by rains once again this evening. The AAP and the BJP stepped up attacks on each other over the floods in the city just a day after Delhi's Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced publicly that they would work together as a team without blaming the other to fight this raging crisis. The AAP pointed to a conspiracy against the people of Delhi and blamed the BJP governments in Haryana and at the Centre for the deluge, prompting a sharp rejoinder from the BJP. The ruling party at the Centre said that the AAP thinks everyone is indulging in a conspiracy while believing that the Chief Minister, "sitting in his sheesh mahal in the comfort of air-conditioners", is doing the right thing. As the politics continues, NDTV's Vedant Agarwal brings a glimpse of the losses suffered by the people of Delhi who have lost their homes and livelihoods to the flood fury.
