Do lockdowns work in curbing the spread of coronavirus? While the Delhi government has ruled out a lockdown, Ahmedabad has gone in for a night curfew and weekend lockdown. France is under a second lockdown since October and Germany also has several restrictions. In the US, one of the most populous states, California, is imposing an overnight curfew on most residents as they try to head off a surge in coronavirus cases.
