Polling Officials Cross River On Foot To Reach Meghalaya Voting Station
Polling officials had to cross a river by foot to reach the Nengsra polling station, located 40 km from the Baghmara Headquarters in Meghalaya's South Garo Hills district. Shivansh Awasthi, the District Election Officer, says 8-9 polling stations in South Garo Hills are non-motorable and polling parties must reach there on foot.
