Lucknow's Biggest Vegetable Mandi Shut For Bharat Bandh
The biggest fruit and vegetable mandi (wholesale market) in Lucknow, locally known as the Dubagga Mandi, has been shut completely as part of the farmer's all-India shutdown or bandh today. The mandi sees a daily footfall of more than 15,000 farmers. Commission agents at the mandi told NDTV the losses associated with shutdown today would be upward of Rs 2 crore, but they support the Bharat Bandh call of farmers.
