'Made in India' for Debenhams
The 'Made in China' label may soon become 'Made in India' with leading UK retailer Debenhams planning to shift its outsourcing base from China to emerging markets like India. It is also setting up 10 outlets in India in the next 3 years. "We are looking to source from other emerging markets like India, Turkey, East Africa and Vietnam," said Francis McAuley, International Director, Debenhams.
