The Madhya Pradesh School education department has announced it will open schools for classes 9 and 10 from August 5. However, this will only be twice in a week. The department has already opened classes 11 and 12 since July 26. But most private schools and those run by missionaries have decided not to open their campuses as they feel opening in a limited way is not economically feasible for them. This backlog has already resulted in many children lapsing into illiteracy.
