Maha Kumbh Today | Prayagraj Businessman Offers 'Digital Snan' For Those Who Cannot Attend Mahakumbh

Deepak Goyal, a local businessman, has introduced a unique digital service called "Digital Snan", or Digital Bath, at the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj. The service allows devotees who cannot physically attend the event to send their photos to Goyal via WhatsApp, which he then prints and immerses in the sacred waters of the Sangam. While the service has gained popularity, the concept of digital bathing has lead some to question the religious validity of a virtual bath. Deepak, however, sees it as a modern adaptation for the evolving needs of devotees.
