17,407 New Covid Cases In India, Maharashtra Reports Nearly 10,000 Cases
India witnessed a spike of 17,407 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry. Maharashtra, a big worry in terms of Covid numbers, reported 9,855 new coronavirus cases, pushing the overall case count in the state to 21,79,185. This is the highest single-day jump since October 17. Six states have seen a surge in cases.
