Maharashtra Announces Major Relaxations In Covid Curbs

With 41 per cent of the population in Mumbai fully vaccinated and 88 per cent having received the first dose of the Covid vaccine, the Maharashtra government has announced major relaxations in Covid restrictions. Schools will open from October 4 and places of worship will open from October 7, the first day of Navratri. Covid protocols like masks, sanitisers and social distancing will continue to be mandatory.
