Maharashtra government has issued an ultimatum to its doctors, who have been on mass casual leave since Sunday. The doctors, the government has said, will lose six months' salary if they don't report for work by 8 pm. Around 3,500 doctors have been protesting since Sunday, demanding more security at the workplace after their colleagues in a couple of hospitals got attacked by the relatives of patients.
