Maharashtra govt fails to keep promises
The Jaipur serial blasts have brought back the memories of blasts in Mumbai and also the memory of a promise made by the state government about the safety of the citizens. After the Mumbai train blasts in 2006, the Maharashtra government had promised to set-up a new intelligence agency, along the lines of the Intelligence Bureau to keep terror groups in check. Two years on, the proposal remains just a proposal.
