The results are in for Maharashtra and Haryana but the story isn't over yet. In Maharashtra, the BJP's reduced numbers have made them more dependent on the Shiv Sena and the Sena is clearly playing hardball. In Haryana, the BJP will form the government with the help of Dushyant Chautala's JJP. The bigger question we ask on The Big Fight is: What do these polls tell us about what voters want, and which issues matter? The BJP campaigned aggressively on nationalist issues like Article 370 but that hasn't worked. With an economic crisis and other day-to-day issues affecting people more, does the nationalism card have its limits?
