Crucial assembly elections lined up in India.. India's richest state Maharashtra is set to elect a new legislature. Maharashtra elections are set to take place on the 20th of November.. Besides Maharashtra, voting in mining rich state of Jharkhand is taking place in two phases. Results will be announced on the 23rd of November. Remains to be seen whether BJP will be able to maintain its wining spree after the Haryana election.
